On the 8th, the Beach Boys came out our way to play, and the boys were one of the opening bands. What an opportunity! For 14 to 17 year-olds, this was an amazing experience (and the biggest stage they've ever played on)! Earlier in the day, they did an acoustic set in the same area and did a great job.
On the 14th, the band had the first round of competition to win a spot to play at the "Rage Music Festival", a 3-day Christian rock festival held in January here in Phoenix. This was the same competition they participated in last year, and they ended up playing in that festival. They have moved on to the finals, which are being held on December 5th at the "Rain" venue in Glendale.
Also, the boys are headed into the recording studio next week to record a 4-song EP which should be available soon - yea!
All in all, this ride is pretty amazing to tag along on!
That's it for now!

Molly,
How cool for your son! I can see your buttons popping off with pride from here! I meant to tell you I love the necklace that Tami did for you, it is a little treasure! What an excellent job she did on it, and it couldn't have gone to a nicer person. It sounds like things are going well in your life and that is good to see. Thanks for checking in on me every now and again, it always makes me happy to see your smiling face on my blog!
Hugs,
Deborah
