Trash Or Treasure?

On my way to get the mail, I noticed that my neighbors just put this out with their bulk trash today:

P3230008

Can you believe it?  Now, I'm not generally in the habit of of going through other people's trash, but it was just sitting there!  On top!  Waiting for me to find it!  I have visions of beautifully aged wire-wrapped pendants or hammered steampunk bracelets floating through my head, and can't wait to figure out how to use it - to turn it into something beautiful and decidedly non-trashy.

They say one man's trash is another man's treasure...

Yep - I'd have to agree!

I agree. One can find beauty and treasure in EVERYTHING if they take the time to look. Love this post. :) Hugs!

Hi Molly, if you visit our place, we can set you up with a large quantity of distressed, aged metal like this. There's an old trash tip downhill from us, and we're always finding antique stuff there. Wish someone would reuse it!
