Butterfly Wings - totally Twisted Project #2

I have finished the second project in Kerry Bogert's book, "Totally Twisted" - Butterfly.  For this project, the techniques used are:  simple loop, coiling, open spiral and wire hook clasp.  What fun!

Here's my version, called "Butterfly Wings" (available in my etsy shop):

Picture4
I used beautiful sea foam-blue colored glass beads that I purchased from Rings and Things at their fabulous bead show (so much fun, I tell you!), and paired it with (surprise) copper wire and dark annealed steel wire.

The clasp is a bit different from the directions, but the end result is nearly the same.  I found this design to be really versatile, and I am definitely going to be using it again!

I'm loving this book, and if any of you out there have made any of the projects out of it, I'd love to post pictures for you on my blog.  Just leave a comment here and I'll include your creations in my upcoming posts.

Happy creating!

Molly, your take on this bracelet is beautiful...I'm really partial to the oxidized copper - it's amazing. Looking forward to seeing more of your Totally Twisted creations. :-)
