Welcome to the hop! today is the reveal for Kristi Bowman's End Cap Blog Hop!
Here is a wonderful picture of what these beautiful end caps started out looking like:
They have the most wonderful colors and shapes, and I wanted to highlight them in my design. And because I have a really hard time using pieces and parts as what they are designed for, I knew I had to create a design that highlighted these beauties as the focal.
From the beginning, in my head this design was very simple and sleek and decidedly feminine. So without further ado, here is "Grace":
I used lengths of a larger gauge wire, hammered out the ends, punched holes in them and slightly curved them with my fingers. I also added a few seed beads and spacers on each link to add some subtle movement and interest to the piece.
These end caps are so beautiful, and are available in Kristi's etsy shop: Kristi Bowman Designs. Thanks so much to Kristi for organizing this hop! Take a few minutes to visit these wonderful designers to see what they have done with their end caps:
Wow! Your design is so creative! I love this!!!! It almost lloks like a lariat...very nicely done!!!!
Simple and beautiful. Of course simple doesn't mean easy does it? I can imagine this with any number of shirts I have.
Molly, that is one fantastic design. Very unusual and beautiful, I love what you did! Thank you for participating!
Hello Molly,

Beautiful, Molly!
Oh this is so pretty. My favorite! Love it. Great job.
Wow, what a great piece! I love that you use the endcaps in an unusual way. This piece would be perfect for summer because it is not heavy. I love it!
So pretty they look like exotic bell flowers!
Very cool - like detailed copper bells. And they really take center stage.
Very clever and so beautiful!! I can see why the necklace is called "Grace" there is such a feeling of zen!
Simply beautiful.
Very cool! I like that you really made the end caps stand out as the focal instead of simply as end caps. They're so pretty, why hide them at the back? Great job.
Very sleek and simple. I love the way this design really shows off the beauty of the beadcaps by making them into the focal point.
You did a great job with the end caps! I love how they look like bells with your design!
