6th Do-Over Challenge Blog Hop

Welcome to the Do-Over Challenge Blog Hop hosted by the talented Jeannie Dukic of Jewelry By Jeannie. The way this works is Jeannie sends out an old piece of jewelry that she made and challenges us to use the components of the piece in a new piece of jewelry. Here is a photo of the jewelry I received:

Beautiful goldstone and citrine, just waiting to be reinvented!  I went a little crazy, and made quite a few pieces from this set:

Funky Earrings

Pendant and Earrings Set

Boho necklace on dyed silk with a lampwork bead by Mary at firebabies

Necklace with yellow marble and copper

Treasure-keeper necklace

Close up of the treasures

Etched copper cross bracelet

I hope you enjoyed your visit - if you have time, please check out the other talented artists in this hop:

Hi Molly,
I love all of your earrings, pendants, and bracelets they are all gorgeous. I am a little envious of your wire skills, I am just learning how to work with wire and metal and hope one day to have mine look as good as yours.

You didn't just redesign the necklace. You created a whole new set of magic and didn't let the old design limit you in any way. You're totally an out of the box thinker and that is so refreshing. I wish I could do that! I love all the little copper work details you did. There are some really neat connection ideas here. Wonderful!

Molly, these are beautiful! Your copper pendant and earring set is to die for. What did you do with the chain; is it viking knit? Your etched copper cross bracelet is also stunning. What a treat for the eyes.

Oh, you got so many beautiful pieces made. I'm a big fan of assemblage necklaces so your treasure-keepers necklace really calls out to me. However, that first pair of earrings is so simple and the wirework so interesting that I'm really pulled to those too. Excellent job with this challenge!!

Gorgeous pieces! I love the funky earrings. I'm amazed at how many pieces you made from just one necklace. The chain in the last bracelet is wonderful. Can I ask where you got it?
