September 2011 Bead Trends

A big thank you goes out to Tatia Meyer for the privilege of being Bead Trends' Featured Designer in this month's issue:

I was asked to send enough pieces of jewelry to fill approximately 10 pages, which, it turns out, is a tremendous amount of jewelry - whew!  I tried to push myself in the design and construction of these pieces, and I was really pleased with the outcome.

The first set is called "Wind and Waves",
and features a beautiful bead and pendant set from Yolanda's Clay:

The second set is called "Caged", and features gorgeous slider rings from Beads of Passion:

The third set is called "Into the Fire", and features stunning lampwork beads from Blue Seraphim:

The fourth set is called "Endless River",
and features lovely lampwork beads from
 and Firebabies
:

There are many more fabulous designers in this issue, including my friend, Holly Westfall of SilverRose Designs, who has her first published piece of jewelry - yea!  So pick up a copy and enjoy some eye candy!

Again, thank you so much Bead Trends for the fabulous photography and amazing opportunity!

All really stunning pieces. Just from doing the bead soup swap I can only imagine the time it would take to create so many lovely designs. It's obvious you love what you do!

Congratulations ~
Lisa :)

I saw these while in Barns and Noble the other day. At that time I wondered how it felt to put the twisted wires in. Love that design. Did not even look at who designed them. They are soo beautiful.

Congrats!

Oh Molly! What a sweet honor to be featured here. Love all your designs and have decided tonight that you are my hero! I've only been making very simple jewelry pieces for a short while, but every time I see what you've done, I'm inspired a zillion times over! Bravo! And God bless you in all things!

Molly, congratulations on such a cool feature! Your work is so beautiful and oh, so worthy of this :) I love the combinations you choose - the way you highlight texture and color, is incredible. I couldn't agree more, the eye candy in this issue is lovely, and thanks for the sweet mention too :)

Your pieces are exquisite!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind words. I'm always excited to make a new friend, but a jewelry designer who makes beautiful things is an added bonus!

Congratulations on your feature. I'd say by the looks of your work, it was well deserved.
