I wanted to share the talent of one of my blog friends, Blenda from Blenda Studio. I found her paintings and mixed media work through her blog one day, and I just fell in love with her vibrant pieces. From florals to still life's to abstracts, her distinct style stands out and pulls your eye through the story she is telling in each piece.
A while back I bought a print from her "Tree of Life" series, and it has lovely little bluebirds in it. Most of the pieces in this series have blue birds, and I asked her if she ever painted red birds, as I fell in love with red birds when we lived in Virginia and had cardinals everywhere.
Well, guess what - she painted some as a part of her "Bird on a Wire" series, and they are just beautiful! She calls her newest piece, "Let It Be #2" - go out to her blog & etsy store and check out her work - it is awesome!
